History professor dies after celebrated career
William Goetzmann, a Pulitzer Prize-winning historian and American studies professor emeritus at UT, died at his home in Austin on Tuesday. Black history finds new focus at NTHC
The North Texas History Center has established a three-year plan to bring attention to groups largely missing from its archives, starting with a black history exhibit that kicks off November 15. Executive director Vicki Day said the project will show North Texas the diverse community it has.
